How much soil should I put in before laying my lawn?
The answer unfortunately depends on your soil type. If your current soil is very clayey and hard, it is recommended to remove enough so that you can add a minimum of 6 inches of new lawn soil. Thus, the roots have an easier time taking in a less compacted soil.
On the other hand, if your soil is generally neither too compacted nor too clayey, you can add 2 to 3 inches of new lawn soil before installing your sod rolls. But after all, we can do it for you, request a free quote!

When is the best time to install sod?
Any time between May and December is ideal for laying sod. On the other hand, it should be noted that heat waves can cause problems, especially with regard to watering. For this, here are the best periods: May, June, September, October, November and December

For a parking lot, you have to install about 13 to 14 inches of 0 ¾, which you will also compact to 3 inches. Then, we finish with 1 inch of dust to even out the whole thing. We can do that for you, since we offer the pose and the installation!
